L-ma King was born in Mississippi and raised in Alabama, later spending meaningful years in New York before settling into her life’s true calling. Her journey has taken her through roles as a registered nurse, real-estate entrepreneur, minister, and now a singer and songwriter guided by spiritual inspiration.
Her music emerged in moments of stillness — quiet hours of prayer and reflection where melodies and words came as whispers. What began as personal revelation grew into a body of songs filled with healing, unity, and faith. Today, her work carries these messages forward with sincerity and clarity, reaching listeners who seek comfort, guidance, and truth.
L-ma’s path is rooted in service. Whether through caregiving, ministry, or song, her intention remains the same: to uplift others, to bring light where it’s needed, and to encourage a deeper connection with God. Artistic Statement
My music begins in quiet places — in the moments when everything slows down and the heart finally becomes clear. I don’t write to entertain. I write because I feel called to share what God places within me: messages of hope, healing, and spiritual awakening.
Every song arrives unexpectedly, like a whisper, carrying its own purpose. My lyrics reflect my journey — the struggles, the breakthroughs, the answered prayers, and the unseen guidance that shaped my life. I believe music is a bridge. My intention is simple:
to offer light, to inspire transformation, and to help others reconnect with their divine identity.
If one heart is lifted by something I’ve written, then I have fulfilled what I was called to do.
